Antique mauve cushion with Toile de Jouy

Description

Cushion made with 19th century purple Toile de Jouy and taffeta purple silk. The toile de Jouy is very fine cotton, roller printed- some minor age showing.

Beautiful design with oriental figures smoking long pipes and huge figs and leaves.

Probably manufactured in Mulhouse, Alsace, France.
