Description
Designed by the prolific Berndt Friberg, a small ceramic bowl produced by Gustavsberg, Sweden, during the 1940s.
The gentle triangular bowl is a testament to Friberg’s attention to detail; the paper-thin walls of the bowl blend from bone white into a brilliant floral yellow. The side profile of the walls depict a wave that adds a natural / non-conforming sense to the design. From above the signature Rabbit fur/ hare’s fur glaze could be mistaken for a blooming sunflower as the brushstrokes burst from the centre.
This piece is in excellent vintage condition with no signs of wear.
