Aida Embroidery Fabric – 16 ct

Description

Aida Embroidery Fabric from DMC in 100% cotton. The fabric is ideal for cross-stitching and has distinct squares, making the work much easier. The fabric is actually so pliable that you can use it without an embroidery hoop.

You get one piece of fabric measuring 38,1 x 45,7 cm (approx. 15 in x 18 in), and this piece of fabric has 6 squares/stitches per cm or 16 squares/stitches per inch (16 ct as the name suggests).

If you are looking for larger squares for easier embroidery, you should look for a lower number, e.g., 14 ct (5,5 pts/cm)

Once your work is finished, we recommend washing your project at 60°C (140°F) or hand washing in lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Let it dry flat. For a perfect result, you can iron your project between two towels.
